Woodshop should be mandatory.
We need a new generation of men who can fix and build up our world and not tear it down.
It's good to see Woodglut have new instructions to save my money and energy to build it.
I'm sure you will find amazing woodworking plans on Woodprix.
Why oak instead pine please thanks
This is definitely one of the best woodworking videos I've seen- thanks for the thorough explanations and detail! Instead of using mortise and tenon, could you still get strong enough joints using dowels in the base? Such as using four dowels (in a 2 x 2 square) for the posts and feet and two dowels for the knee braces?
Wonderful work and craftsmanship. When you build with that kind of detail, how hard is it to get paid for the effort and time? I mean that customers will likely never see much of the joinery.
к ему выпендрёж с ножовкой и ручным коловоротом?если есть циркулярка.сверлильный станок. торцовочная пила и фрезер.
you put your heart and soul into your work. nice to see such dedication.
On the braces, could you do a 90 instead of 45? Just bring the end of the tenon into square?
What type of wood is that?
Great Craftsmanship !! Thanks for sharing !
I like to use square dowels, each 4 sides gets stuck in the hole perfectly in the narrow hole
Jesus I could watch that 100 times and still be in awe. That's the kind of table that gets passed down for generations.
Amazing! Really exceptional work!
probably the strongest table base i have ever seen that thing would support 10 tons or more probably 20 tons ..
Wow!! Best video ever
Do you have bench plans?
Thanks for this.
I have to make one from iroko tomorrow.
Just beautiful joinery. Love seeing all those super clean pieces coming together.
Go to Woodglut if you want to know how to make it easier. This is a good solution for every woodworker.
Hi. I think you need to take some time and take a quick tour of Woodglut website to find out how to do this.
Try the best carpenters and woodworkers plans. Woodprix.

If you want to build it yourself, just google Woodprix. I know you will find good solutions for all your ideas.
Great job explaining everything thank you are a true craftsman thank you
I did something like this a month ago with plans from Woodglut.
What was the approximate materials cost for this
Hey Chris, instead of gluing the top stretcher dovetail boards and center stretcher could you just lay them in dry to make it easier to disassemble if the table needed to be moved? Or would it compromise the stability of the table too much? Love the plans btw. Can’t wait to get started.
Hey Chris, got a question on this build. In the video you cut the dove tails out for the top support and then laminate it to another board. Obviously the top board of the top support must be the same thickness as the top stretcher so that it fits flush when assembled. But in your plans the cut list says the top stretcher is 1³/⁸ thick and the top support is 1³/⁴ thick. I'm guessing it is just a typo and the top support is supposed to say 2³/⁴ bc that would be double the thickness of the 1³/⁸ stretcher board. Is that correct? Should I just glue up 2 boards that are 1³/⁸ for the top support for a total top support thickness of 2³/⁴ where the top stretcher fits in to half of it bc it is also 1³/⁸? Love your vids BTW.
